It is our school policy that all children wear uniform. Uniform may be purchased at Marks & Spencer, BHS, John Lewis or at many clothing sections within the more popular supermarkets.
All children are to wear their WINTER uniform in September. SUMMER uniform is to be worn from May Day onwards. All uniform must be clearly marked with the child’s name on otherwise they are not permitted to take off their jumper even on a hot day.
Boys and Girls: Winter
Red joggers and sweatshirts with the school logo (please purchase these items from school). If required, for extra warmth, a red polo shirt (with collar).
We do not sell red polo shirts or Summer uniform in school. Grey socks for boys and white socks for girls.
Short grey school trousers (not combat style), red polo shirt (with collar), school sweatshirts (with the school logo) and grey socks.
Dark blue and white check dress, dark blue cardigan and white socks. No tights or cycling shorts to be worn under dresses.
Shoes for all the children in the Nursery must be proper plain school type shoes (not ones that look like trainers) in black or dark blue preferably with Velcro fastening. NO TRAINERS ARE TO BE WORN PLEASE.
Coats/jackets for all the children in the Nursery and in school must be DARK BLUE please.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Pupils
Long grey school trousers, red polo shirt (with a collar) and red v-neck jumper.
Short grey school trousers (not combat style), red polo shirt (with collar) and red v-neck jumper.
Shoes must be black or dark blue plain school type shoes (not ones that look like trainers please) preferably with Velcro® fastening, particularly for younger pupils.
Socks must be grey.
Coats/jackets must be DARK BLUE. Denim jackets or any other colours are not permitted.
Dark blue skirt or pinafore, red polo shirt (with collar) and red v-neck jumper.
Dark blue and white check dress and dark blue school style cardigan. No tights.
Shoes must be black or dark blue or white (in Summer) and be sensible school type shoes.
Socks must be white and, during the winter, red or dark blue tights may be worn.
Hair accessories must be red or dark blue during Winter and navy blue or white during the Summer. Hair extensions are permitted provided that they are minimal.
For safety reasons the children are not permitted to have lots of hair extensions and no beads are allowed. Please do not put your small child in a situation where they are corrected for having excessive hair extensions. They will be corrected by staff.
Coats/jackets must be DARK BLUE.
All children are to be in the correct uniform at all times otherwise your child will be corrected for wearing the wrong uniform.
School sunhats for boys and girls are available for the children to buy from the school office. No other hat may be worn. On very hot days we operate a no hat, no play policy.
Jewellery: girls are able to wear gold studs or small sleepers, boys are not permitted to wear earrings. No other jewellery may be worn including chains, bracelets, medals etc. This is for reasons of safety and a policy put in place by Barnet and approved by the Governors.
All pupils are requested to wear dark blue shorts (not bermuda style, skirt or baggy shorts as they restrict movement), a white t-shirt and black plimsolls with elasticated fronts (not laces).
Children are not permitted to wear trainers at any time.
All items of clothing a child wears to school must be clearly marked with the child’s name including PE kit and plimsolls as staff no longer have the time to look for lost belongings.
We feel that it is important for children to present a clean and tidy appearance at all times. Please provide your child with a handkerchief or tissues.
