Charity Fundraising
At The Annunciation Infant School we develop, in age and stage appropriate ways, our pupils' understanding of the theology that underpins the call to acts of service to others. Through our commitment to works of charity we help pupils to gain a greater understanding of our responsibility to do what we can in support of all members of God's family. Throughout the year we organise fundraising activities to raise money for Charities such as CAFOD and the RNLI.
We recently collected food items for Homeless Action In Barnet and received this lovely certificate to say Thank You!
The School raised £200 from our Brighten up for CAFOD day.

We also raised a further £433 in our Christmas Bucket collection which was used to buy gifts from the CAFOD catalogue, chosen by each class, for families in developing countries. Reception children chose a winter survival kit, vegetable garden and chirpy chickens.
Year 1 children chose a donkey that delivers, a community toilet and a fabulous football.
Year 2 children chose water for a family, chirpy chickens, a chicken coop, squirming worms, immunisations for a child and a meal for someone in poverty.
